1. Privacy policy

As we are required to protect our customers/donators’ personal information by Thailand Personal Data Protection Act, please provide the following information:

1.1. What personal data you collect (For example name, email address, telephone number etc)

Name, Email Address, Billing Address, Shipping Address, Telephone number

1.2. For what purpose or reason you collect the personal data.

In order to complete an online donation/adoption transaction, and a merchandise purchasing transaction; we will need name, email address, billing address, shipping address, and telephone number.  

1.3. How long you keep the personal data.

Until customers request to delete.

1.4. How your customers can send a request to delete, disclose or update the personal data you hold.

1.5. With whom you share the personal data, now or in the future.

1.) We share the personal data within our organization, the Wild Animal Rescue Foundation of Thailand, and the Gibbon Rehabilitation Project staffs. 

2.) We are currently using WordPress, Woocommerce, and SimplyBook.me to manage online transactions, communications, and activity bookings; which the personal data may be stored in these third-party apps. 

3.) In the future, we maybe change to use other Ecommerce platforms.

1.7. Refund Policy

Refund Request: Donors can request a refund within 7 days after making the payment.

How to Request a Refund:

Donors can send an email to GRP at grp@gibbonproject.org with the subject “Request to Cancel Donation and Refund.” Please include the order number or the email used for the donation transaction, along with the reason for requesting the cancellation and refund.

Refund Timeframe:

In cases where payment was made via credit card, the refund process will depend on the policies of each respective bank. Generally, credit card holders will receive the refund in the next billing cycle.

In the case of payment made through QR Code PromptPay or bank transfer, GRP will request account information in order to process the refund within 15 business days.

Activity Booking Cancellation Policy

(1) If you are unable to attend on the scheduled date, you have the option to request a date change at no additional cost. Alternatively, you can retain your ticket for up to one year from the original booking date or transfer it to someone else.

(2) For cancellations made up to 3 days prior to the scheduled date, a 30% fee will be deducted from the total amount paid. This fee covers our credit card transaction fee, currency conversion fee, and refund processing fee.

(3) Cancellations made less than 3 days before the scheduled date will result in the full amount being retained as a donation to support animal welfare.
