Leopard cat rescue! This little fellow was found in a household from were it was rescued and safely released back into the wild. Leopard cats are native to south-east Asia and in the Indian subcontinent. They are as big as house cats but are also excellent swimmers and possess webbed toes on their feet. Sadly deforestation is the primary reason the population of this animal is declining. Therefore the loss of habitat drives animals to find an available source of food elsewhere and unfortunately this rescue proves to be a perfect example.
